Awake docs
Awake gives every person in your org a secure computer in the cloud, a box, where agents and tools run under your org’s policy. These pages say what each of Awake’s errors means and what to do about it, and how the controls behind them work.
When something was refused
Section titled “When something was refused”Every error Awake sends carries a code, such as egress.plain_http. Its page says what happened, what you can do, and what your admin can do. Error codes lists every code by where it comes from.
- A tool in your box couldn’t reach a host: The Egress Proxy.
- A tool printed
CONNECT tunnel failed, response 403: A tool says the proxy refused its tunnel.
For agents
Section titled “For agents”If you are an agent working in an Awake box: when Awake refuses something, tell the person what was refused and why, with its code. Don’t retry in a loop, and don’t try another host, encoding or route to get around a control.
